Wet Noses Pet Boutique in St. Armands Circle is under new ownership!
Over two years ago I wrote about my bad experience as a customer at the Wet Noses store. To sum it up, I was in the store and ordered a shirt for my dog. (Shut up, this was prior to being married and having a child, I needed to dress my dog to fill my emotional voids, but now I just eat spoonfuls of peanut butter and cool whip. I've grown more resourceful.) I went home and waited for the package to arrive. It never did. I contacted the store on more than five occasions, speaking with different employees each time. The owner had left the country for a vacation and had not ordered the item nor did she plan to order the item, I later learned.
And then I blogged about it all.
Fast forward to NOW: I recently got an email from the new owner, Christine Baer, who found my old entry, emailed me, apologized for something she had nothing to do with, and then sent me this adorable dog shirt.
We won't be in Florida until March but I will definitely be going in for a visit.

Always so nice to hear GOOD news from a customer service perspective! Sounds like Christine is the awesome- and your doggy is for sure. Soooo cute.:) For a minute when I saw your title, I thought you'd fallen in with a bad crowd on the playground.:) I was like, "Noooo, Stacey! Ruuuuuunnnnnn!" Glad it's just the canine variety.

That is fantastic! It is sadly so rare that customer service is good, let alone great. It sounds as though the new owners are really on the ball. If I ever find myself in Sarasota, I will make a point to stop by! Also: LOVE the shirt :)
