Ask, and you shall know

A special thanks to all of those who de-lurked yesterday and left a comment.  It's always nice to see who is reading. 

My friend, Sarah B left a comment asking about how I settled on the name _Noah_.

First of all, Marc and I totally agreed on the name and liked it from the beginning.  We read name books and talked about a few other options but I kept coming back to the name Noah.

There was one special moment that I will always cherish.  The day before I was certain that I was pregnant, I suspected it. There was a moment when I was in my laundry room and I put my hand on my belly and thought ... I'm here with Noah Herman.

From that moment on, I knew that was his name.  It was several more months before I even knew for sure that I was having a boy.  And we didn't tell anyone until after he was born.  It was our special secret about our baby.

I love this story! I think Noah is a great name and it appears to absolutely suit him. Sidenote: the little hat he is wearing (the grandpa-esque one) is insanely, absurdly, cute.
