The guest blogging continues. Today's post is written by my dear friend and cohort in blogging mischief, Jodifur. We met through our blogs and we are now friends in real life as well as on the screen. On any given evening we are chatting on GMAIL Chat and Twittering each other. SIMULTANEOUSLY. We have no shame. We also talk LOUDLY in open public places about our BLOGS. And we often neglect our children near pools to do so. Oh, wait, that's just me. She is an amazing lady and she has offered to write today to keep YOU entertained while I am off vacationing visiting the in-laws. I swear to the heavens above and below that I did NOT ask her to write about ME. In fact, I probably said something like, write about your mother-in-law or your boss or something to give my readers a break from my whining about lack of sleep.
I love Blogging. I'd have to, because I don't just blog here. I also blog here, and here. I also twitter, a lot. Some call it an addiction, I call it a life line.
Blogging gives you an opportunity to ask questions you can never ask real life friends, or that they are sick of hearing. For example, after I had whined for the 5th month in a row about a potty accident to a real life girlfriend, I just twittered, another potty accident, and got immediate sympathy. I could not have lived through finding out I had Lupus without my blog. Who needs therapy when you can write everything down and no one can interrupt you. And then people respond. And if you don't like what they have to say you can ignore it, its divine.
But the real reason I keep blogging, is for the friendships. People who don't blog don't get it. How you can make honest to goodness friends through a computer screen. But you can and you do. And one of my favorites, in the whole wide blogosphere, is the Fabulous Miss S herself.
I swear to you, Stacy and I were separated at birth. We have the same a little overly sarcastic sense of humor. We have faced the same marriage and mommy woes. We are the same religion and come from a similar background. She just gets me. From the instant we met we clicked, and I knew I had a friend for life.
And I know, withought a doubt, that had I never started my blog, I never would have met her.
Blogging opens up a world of opportunities, literally. I am so grateful for all the new friendships I have made. I'm happy to have met both of you through blogging and Twitter.

I love the women who I've met through blogging and while it may sound cheesy, I'm truly thankful to know that all of you are out there!

Well, now, I've always said that's the best thing about having a blog. I certainly wouldn't know either one of you, and I think you're both pretty damn special.
